Dow Jones editing and business reporting summer internships

The Dow Jones News Fund, Inc. offers summer internships in digital editing, news editing, business reporting and sports editing. The deadline for applying for 2013 is Nov. 1. The program includes free pre-internship training, $1,000 scholarships and stipends for travel to training sites.
Students must take an editing test or business reporting test before Oct. 31. Prof. Lisa Miller can give the tests and send in the results. Contact her at lc.miller@unh.edu if you’re interested.
Students should go to www.newsfund.org, click on the Programs tab, then on College Internships. Each must register as an Intern Applicant to complete the application form. Students may apply for all four internships. There is a single editing application for digital, news and sports editing; the business reporting application is separate.
